"violin"
Through this visual deconstruction, the violin is liberated from the cliché of its body, and is reduced to it's essence - pure energy. We sense through our eyes what the violin means to our ears. When we think of a violin, we don't immediately think of dead wood and steel. We think of the abstractions of sound, beauty, vibration, energy, emotion. Paradoxically, by obliterating the form of the violin, by abstracting it, the photographer refocuses our attention on what the physical instrument really means and is.
